Emerald ash borer (EAB), Agrilus planipennis, is an invasive wood-boring beetle from Asia that has killed millions of ash (Fraxinus spp.) trees in North America. Infestations typically remain undetected until symptoms are severe. This presentation will provide an overview of proactive pest management efforts in California to prepare for the imminent arrival of EAB.
