Teachers and students alike can have pretty not-so-enthusiastic responses to having creepy crawly arthropods in their classroom. However, mini-lessons and outreach events in classrooms can help both feel more comfortable interacting with and seeing value in insects and how insects can be used as ambassadors for a variety of educational standards across multiple STEM disciplines.
