Tarnished plant bugs and stink bugs are major pests of cotton in the southeastern United States. The goal of the present study is to determine how agronomic decisions, including soil fertility and plant growth regulation, may influence population dynamics of these major pests in cotton. Replicated studies were conducted at three locations in southeastern Virginia in 2025.
