NorroaTM, active ingredient vadescana, is a new and effective approach to varroa mite (Varroa destructor) management in honey bee (Apis mellifera) colonies. Norroa was recently approved by the US EPA for use. Recent field trial results will be presented which demonstrate effective control of varroa infestations and that it is safe to honey bees and how it can improve survival of honey bee colonies.
