Do entomologists care about imperfect detection when collecting species presence/absence data? Occupancy models have been widely applied to vertebrate research but have seen limited application in entomology. This symposium will demonstrate the utility of occupancy models to entomological research and monitoring and serve as a catalyst for future applications.
