My initial ventures in ESA leadership were modest, and without ambition to do more than become more involved in ESA. Serving in various capacities over time resulted in serving in Section and Branch roles, and now on the ESA Governing Board. Engagement and serving with colleagues who shared an interest in serving the society members has played a significant role in my ESA interactions and ambitions that evolved from over the years.
