Building partnerships to strengthen an extension program

This talk will focus on the importance of creating opportunities for extension agents, growers, and industry partners to develop a successful extension program. By budgeting for programs of extension agents, taking on-farm workshops to small-scale growers' fields, and purchasing that microscope for an extension agent who could enhance their program in-turn, are all examples of building partnerships. Specific examples and grant opportunities utilized for such partnership building will be discussed.
