Careers in extension and conservation are stressful, heightened by an unstable and uncertain socio-political climate. Movement, along with the practice of yoga, has proven scientific benefit to managing stress and supporting resiliency in our careers. While this might be a daily physical yoga practice for some, the practice of yoga goes far beyond the physical. Learn practical ways to incorporate movement and other yoga practices into your day, even while sitting at a desk, to help manage stress and anxiety. This talk is led by Nicole Bell, a pollinator ecologist and extension educator with UMass Amherst Extension, and also an RYT-500 (Registered Yoga Teacher) and NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer).
