Dryinidae are parasitoid wasps within the Aculeate superfamily Chrysidoidea. The family is known as the "pincer wasps" for the characteristic fore-leg chela that many females use to restrain their leafhopper and planthopper hosts. Phylogenetic studies within the family have been extremely limited, with most data coming from morphological datasets or small numbers of Sanger sequencing genes. Here, we present the first genomic-level study of the family using UCEs (Ultraconserved Elements).
